THE DHIH LIBRARY
A little about DHIH
A quiet corner of the internet for thoughtful reading.
A reading at your own pace
DHIH brings together devotional and contemplative texts with room to read slowly. Original text, transliteration and translations are shown as distinct layers, so you can choose the way you read.
Text with context
Each library reading identifies its edition and source. Where authorship is traditional or uncertain, the credit says so. Translation credits belong to the translator; they are kept separate from the composer of the original work.
Texts and translations enter this library after their source permissions and text have been reviewed. Available languages and categories grow with the collection. Explore the source records →
Make a small place for returning
Save a reading to your bookmarks, adjust the text size or switch to a dark reading theme. These preferences stay in this browser; you do not need an account.
Read with care
Different traditions and editions sometimes preserve different readings. Source notes help make those differences visible. Use the feedback form at the end of a reading to suggest a correction or share a source.
